Shipping & Returns

We Only Ship Inside the U.S.A. We Do Not Export.

MINIMUM ORDER: Our minimum order is $50.00. Any order less than this amount is charged a $5.00 small order fee.

PROOF OF AGE: A Federal Firearms License is no longer required to order ammunition, brass, bullets, powder, primers or any other component. HOWEVER, there is a requirement, as mandated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, that we can only sell handgun ammunition and components to persons over the age of 21. We have elected to adopt this age for ALL ammunition and components.

You must have proof of age on file with us before we can ship these items. If you are ordering for the first time a copy a government issued ID showing your birth date is needed before the order can be shipped. We will put this on file for future orders and do not require you to send it again. You may either email (sales@bullrunarms.com) or fax (fax # 703-542-4218) us a copy of your drivers license.

If you place an order and fail to provide proof of age within 2 weeks your order may be automatically cancelled and be subject to the 25% cancellation fee. (see CANCELED ORDERS below) .

METHOD OF PAYMENT: We accept Visa,, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. There is no charge added for credit card orders. You must provide your name, address, day time phone number, credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code. All cards are cleared by bank transfer before order is sent.

PRICES: We try to keep our prices as low as possible, however, PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. Current market conditions are tight and commodity prices have increased tremendously forcing manufacturers to increase prices. We will pass these on as they occur. SOME SURPLUS AMMUNITION IS in short supply due to military order and usage which is at a very high level right now. Also, we reserve the right to LIMIT QUANTITIES on certain items in order for try to help ALL our customers.

SHIPPING: All prices DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING CHARGES. We ship via UPS ground with signature required on delivery. Shipments of ammunition or hazardous materials will be shipped with adult (21 or older) signature required. Most orders ship within 5 business days.

C.O.D. ORDERS: We just don't do them. The regulations are too strict so we quit sending C.O.D.

Sales Tax: Virginia State Sales Tax of 5.0% will be added to orders shipped to Virginia addresses unless you provide a Virginia Sales and Use Tax Certificate (Form ST-10 faxed to 703-542-4218 or emailed to sales@bullrunarms.com). You must send a Virginia Sales and Use Tax Certificate with EACH ORDER as we do not keep them on file and attach them to the order for the sale tax auditor from the Virginia Department of Taxation. Sales tax is NOT added for orders shipped outside of Virginia for use and consumption outside the State of Virginia. Customers are solely responsible for any sales and use tax in their home state. Sales Tax must now be Charged on Shipping and Handling for the State of Virginia.

SALES TO ALASKA AND HAWAII: We gladly ship Non-Restricted items Directly to these states. Restricted Items such as Ammunition and Haz-Mat must go through a Freight Forwarding Company. It is the customers responsibility to arrange this and provide us the delivery address of this company. If you have questions Please contact us first before ordering.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: Now, here is a bear. It is so complicated to ship HazMats (powder, primers, components tracer bullets) that each order is reviewed individually to calculate the packing and shipping charges so the customer gets the best deal. Current HazMat charges are $22.50 per package. Order all you can to reduce your cost per unit as many items can usually be put in one package.

CANCELED ORDERS: We don't mind helping you to correct a mistake but if you decide to cancel an order a 25% cancellation fee will be charged. If you don't want to provide proof of age when ordering ammunition or magazines then don't place an order.

RETURNS: No returns without prior authorization. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all returned orders. Damaged packages should be reported to the carrier who is responsible for the damage. Shipping charges for returned goods must be paid for by the buyer. All returns must be in original and unopened condition just as they left Bull Run Arms. We can't accept returns on some items such as ammunition.

REFUSALS and NON-DELIVERABLE SHIPPMENTS: A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all refused or non-deliverable shipments. Additional shipping charges for refused or non-deliverable shipments will be charged in addition to the restocking fee. The remaining balance will be refunded to the purchasers credit card and the order canceled.

BACKORDERS: WE DO NOT ACCEPT THEM!

SHORTAGES, DAMAGED GOODS, LOST SHIPMENTS: You must report any shortages or damaged goods to us within 10 days of receipt of the package or you have waived your right to an adjustment or refund. Please, check your orders when they come in and email us at support@bullrunarms.com (make sure to include a phone number) and we will be glad to help you. If you put it on the shelf and wait 3 years before you open it, we will not help you. Generally we are not responsible for lost shipments or damaged packages which should be reported to the carrier responsible for the loss or damage. We will gladly help you with your claim with the carrier.

RESTRICTED SHIPMENTS: Some states do not allow mail order shipments of certain items. For example, we can not ship hi-cap magazines to California and some other locations. If it is illegal for you to order certain items in your area, please do not order these items.
